Poké Tetris, also known as Pikachu is an unlicensed Tetris game featuring Pikachu, made for the Famicom or Nintendo Entertainment System by an unknown developer sometime in the early 2000's. It uses similar menus and gameplay layouts from Tengen's version of Tetris. It is not to be confused with Pokémon Tetris, a game officially released for the Pokémon mini.
Gameplay
Poké Tetris features three modes: 1 Player, 2 Player, and Cooperative, although a duplicate of the 1 and 2 player modes (1 Player A and 2 Player B) is present, making a total of five selectable modes. Before starting a game, the player selects a block skin, a piece set (the default is tetrominoes), the starting level, number of handicap lines, and the background music.
When a level increases, garbage lines will appear, with the number of garbage lines depending on the amount of levels increased in one game.
