Tetris Jr. was a planned Multi Screen Game and Watch game to be released circa 1989. It was cancelled for unknown reasons.

In April 2023 a device believed to be a prototype of Tetris Jr. was found.[1]

Gameplay

Unlike in regular Tetris games, the active piece in this version cannot be moved horizontally. Instead, the left and right directional buttons move the stack left and right.

The game has two modes, Game A and Game B. Game A appears to be a marathon mode, while Game B is timed, with line clears increasing the timer.
