Tetris Battle Drop was a multiplayer Tetris game available on Facebook.com and iPad. It is based on Tetris Battle (Facebook), but with a modified Rank system and gameplay mechanics.
Gameplay
Tetris Battle Drop uses standard Guideline rules for gameplay; tetrominoes are controlled by using either a mouse (Web) or touch screen (iPad).
Modes
Single Player (iPad)
Standard fixed-goal Marathon mode. Clear 150 lines to complete the stage.
World Battle
2-player online versus mode with the same mechanics used in the main Tetris Battle app. The Rank system is carried over, but each Title's rank(s) are multiplied by 10. The player moves a certain number of Ranks up depending on the time it takes for the player to knock out an opponent:
- 40 seconds or less: 10 Ranks
- 41 to 60 seconds: 5 Ranks
- 61 to 90 seconds: 2 Ranks
- 90 seconds or more: 1 Rank
Local Battle (iPad)
2 players compete against each other on the same device; one player's playfield is inverted opposite the other player's playfield. This mode is unlocked by reaching Rank 10 in World Battle.
